BDL is delivering works at Elephant Park in Southwark, London – the upcoming mixed-use development comprised of 3,000 new homes on behalf of principal contractor Lendlease.

Sustainably supporting the growth of the capital

Supporting the wider regeneration of Elephant and Castle, Elephant Park will create a mixed-use development, offering residential and leisure facilities including shops, restaurants and cafes. A key unique element of the development is it will create one of the largest new parks in central London for 70 years.

As part of the commitment from Lendlease to sustainability develop the area with green spaces, the developer will retain over 100 mature trees and plant hundreds of new ones – enabling the development to be recognised as one of the most environmentally sustainable urban regeneration projects in the world. Also, as participants in the Climate Positive Development Programme – this ensures Elephant Park will be climate positive once completed in 2025.
