Leadership for me is about being honest and authentic and helping others to succeed by listening to understand. My role involves helping the business to make better and more informed decisions and this is something I am very passionate about

I joined the Carey Group as Group Finance Manager in 2018, moving to Finance Director for Careys Civil Engineering entity in 2021 before transitioning into my current role in 2025 as Group Finance Director responsible for leading the finance team and aligning the financial strategy with business goals.

Prior to joining Careys I worked for Balfour Beatty on various joint venture frameworks with London Underground, Crossrail, Skanska, and Stantec. I have also worked for Coca Cola GB, GlaxoSmithKline, and Chrysalis Publishing.

I am a qualified Chartered Management Accountant and have worked through various disciplines within the Finance function which has offered a broad range of knowledge and skills. Finance has a huge part to play in the success of a business by looking at the road ahead and around the corner identifying risks, possibilities and opportunities that may be headed our way.

In my role as the Group’s Finance Director, I am excited to apply my passion for problem solving as we look to deliver our business strategy and continue to strengthen our financial position - working alongside my operational and commercial colleagues is key to this and ensures that the right information is considered and available at the right time to optimise and protect the value of the business.
