I’ve had the privilege of working in multiple roles across various departments, which culminated in my role as CEO, which I held from 2019 to 2025. As my position in the business evolves to a non-executive family member, my focus is on making way for the next generation of leaders to manage the business day-to-day.
Working alongside the board I’m able to take a step back from the day-to-day whirlwind of running the business, which allows me to look with a fresh perspective, ensuring we move forwards in a calm, consistent and considered manner, whilst playing a supportive role in the development and growth of the business and our leadership teams.
This new direction allows me to work with our leaders on building and maintaining the family business culture that was so important to our founders. I want to use the experience I’ve gained over the years to support the next generation in implementing and executing the strategy of the business, ensuring our focus remains on winning good work and continuing our focussed client selection, so we continue to deliver exceptional construction projects in the safest of environments.
My new role allows me to promote the company’s heritage and champion what makes it special to work at Careys.
