Careys Civil Engineering is undertaking an extensive package of hard and soft landscaping works at the prestigious venue of Wimbledon Tennis Courts - a world famous sporting venue enjoyed by millions of visitors each year. Our works are being delivered to an exacting standard, requiring meticulous attention to detail along with the procurement of high-quality landscaping materials for the project.

Before works commenced on-site, we worked closely with our client to understand their specific requirements, which reinforced the importance of undertaking our multi-year programme of works around each year’s championship dates. Our proposed programme included the reinstatement of multiple areas of works and sequential handover to ensure minimal disruption to this prestigious venue.

We have undertaken a range of works at the site, including a cut and fill exercise, installation of concrete foundations and drainage, installation of paving including sand bedding, mortar bedding, bonding slurry and movement joints. In addition to this, we are responsible for sourcing and installing a range of landscaping materials, including Scottish green schist, Italian porphyry, Dutch clay paviours, Marshals block paving and stainless steel edging across the site.

We are also responsible for the design, supply and installation of drainage channels and planters to the site, undertaking all works within a congested works area and always completing works without causing disruption to the prestigious tennis championships.
