This year’s International Day of Charity is a special celebration at the Carey Group as we are proud to celebrate 10 years of Careys Foundation. Established by the Carey family in 2012, Careys Foundation became a registered charity in 2015 (No. 1159819) and fuelled by our teams, clients and trustees are proud to have raised over £2 million.

Based on the strong Carey family values which have underpinned the wider Group since 1969, the Foundation focuses on supporting and making a positive impact on the lives of all Carey Group people, the charities we partner with and the communities we work in through volunteering.

This year, the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity (the Lighthouse Club) is Careys Foundation’s key charity partner, raising awareness and funds for them across all our sites and offices. Additionally, each Carey Group region is given the opportunity to support a smaller, local charity within their community. The regional charities in 2022 are: ARC Ireland, Barnabus, Maggie’s, Tommy’s and Mind.
