Imperial College London - Steel beam installation

Our project at Imperial College London White City Campus includes the installation of a new bridge over the Central Line.

In the small hours of Sunday night, the project team oversaw the installation of the first section of steel work for the bridge – a huge beam measuring 22 metres and weighing 28 tonnes - which required the use of a specialist crane and lifting team and positioning into place with millimetre accuracy.
