Architectural view from beneath concrete structure showing parallel beams, with distant city buildings and pale blue sky visible.

Over the past 2 years the team have been delivering substructure, superstructure and external works along with hard landscaping helping to create this new iconic landmark. Despite the challenges and complexities of the project, the structural team delivered exceptional reinforced concrete work ahead of programme, alongside the external landscaping team delivering over 6000m2 of immaculately finished granite paving.

I personally want to say a huge thank you to all of the Careys V&A team who have contributed to building this phenomenal structure. The planning team, commercial team and all of our support team - formwork, health and safety, lifting and quality, everyone has played their part in constructing this landmark project. This project displays the ‘one team one dream’ philosophy that Careys stands for and we can all be incredibly proud of the project we have completed.
Patrick Duffy - V&A Project Manager

Adjacent to the museum, the team helped to create a new community garden, open to the public and simultaneously redefining Dundee’s waterfront. The project team partnered with Careys Foundation, our Group registered charity who strive to support local communities and charitable causes to complete the works.
