A new neighbourhood

Springside will create an urban village located in Fountainbridge, just a few minutes' walk from Haymarket train station. Creating a new neighbourhood in the city, Springside will be home to 476 rental apartments, shops, bars, restaurants, extensive parks and a public square. Residents will have access to lounges, dedicated health and wellbeing zones, a games room and dining club, with terrace views towards the iconic Edinburgh Castle.

Our scope of works

Springside is a seven storey post-tension frame with a single basement level car park. Our package scheduled for completion in September 2021, our package of work includes:

  • Substructure works
  • Superstructure works (including 5 no. jumpform cores)
  • Cranage (4 tower cranes)
  • Hard landscaping

Careys commenced groundworks in January, and despite challenges posed to the team including cold and wet weather, we are working in parallel with the tight programme of works. In line with the robust schedule, we have scheduled our tower crane erections to be completed towards the end of next month.
