Galliford Try dedicated to maintaining a robust supply chain

UK construction company, Galliford Try, strives to improve the nation’s built environment by delivering positive and lasting change for the communities its teams work in. To do that, the company maintains a strong, integrated supply chain – one that reflects their core values and emphasis on excellence, passion, integrity and collaboration.

How the Carey Way enables us to live up to Galliford Try’s high health and safety standards

At Careys, we are committed to delivering all that we do to an exceptional standard and to the highest safety levels possible – the Carey Way of going to work. This approach, which is a testament to the rock-solid values and strong work ethic we’ve held since we were established in 1969, is the foundation of all of our efforts, on every project, at every site – including the works we have been carrying out for Galliford Try.

Despite the challenges presented by the 100 Avebury Boulevard project – including a tight site footprint and time-restricted project programme – we maintained our focus on producing superb results without comprising safety.

As a result of our approach and efforts on this project, we earned top safety marks from Galliford Try. We scored 4 – signifying excellence – for every month of the key performance indicator (KPI) client audit for safety and employee wellbeing.

In recognition of this impressive achievement by our team, Galliford Try Business Development Manager, Neus Garriock, commented:

Congratulations on receiving this accolade, [which measures] the on-site performance by all our subcontractors monthly. This recognition is a direct result of a job well done by Careys.
