Setting an impressive environmental example, the team replanted 8 trees at Sandfield Close Primary School, which were originally removed from outside of Highcross Shopping Centre. Benefiting the children at the school today, but also for generations to come, whilst also helping them with their education, learning and watching how these trees change through the seasons.

We are pleased that these trees, which were originally removed from outside of Highcross Shopping Centre as part of our works, have been rehoused within the local community, positively impacting the local environment.

Promoting rising talent, Scudder Demolition also gave local artists the opportunity to showcase their creative talents in transforming the hoarding outside the shopping centre. By setting up a ‘safe zone’ local artists were able to apply a range of striking street art designs under the watchful eye of shoppers and bystanders. These creative designs have been enjoyed by visitors to Highcross Shopping Centre and will continue to be enjoyed by the local community once Scudder move off-site in mid-August as the hoarding will be dismantled and distributed to various sites, including Sandfield Close Primary School.
