The UK construction industry has continued to grow year on year, and with that growth has come a more diverse and dynamic workforce.

With this diversity comes a wide range of cultures, religions, and beliefs. Recognising and respecting these differences isn’t just the right thing to do - it’s essential to building a workplace where everyone feels valued, safe, and able to thrive.

At the Carey Group, we’re committed to creating an environment where every individual feels supported and included, which underpins our strategic goal of being a Great Place to Work. It’s not just an aspiration for us – it’s a foundation of the Carey Group culture.

This week, our Diversity & Inclusion Council spoke with several managers from across the Group to hear their thoughts on what respect in the workplace means to them, and how we can continue to champion inclusion across all our sites and offices.

After hearing from various managers this week – we’re topping it off with some words from Midlands Regional Director, Tom Wraight.
