Battersea Power Station and One Nine Elms are the first stations to be added to the Northern Line since Morden opened in 1926, whilst the last major Tube expansion was the Jubilee Line extension, when six new stations opened in 1999. The Northern Line extension is the first major Tube extension this century and is supporting around 25,000 new jobs and more than 20,000 new homes.

Despite the constraints of the nationwide materials shortage and the impact this has had on delivery schedules, the site team has excelled in the delivery of our package of hard landscaping and public realm works which includes:

  • Removal from site of all spoil / waste
  • Supply, install all surface water manholes and chambers
  • Installation of new drainage including connections to existing manholes
  • Laying of granite paving and granite steps to staircases
  • Raised and flush granite kerbing and edgings
  • Installing benches, bollards and street furniture
  • Installation of bespoke powered coated planters and associated timber benches
