Garrison Data Centre

Careys was contracted to deliver external and drainage works at Garrison Data Centre – a 50-acre data centre campus. As part of this project, we diverted the existing storm drainage and connected into the existing Severn Trent Network.

We were tasked with carrying out the cut and carve of an existing Victorian warehouse in Corby and acted as a specialist mechanical and electrical (M&E) subcontractor to carry out the external and drainage works.

As a result of the excellent quality of our initial works on this project, Mace awarded us further packages. Our overall scope of works included the provision of:

• Underground drainage

• Under slab foul drainage

• Concrete slab decking

• Concrete plinths to the new roof area

• A base for new external stairs

• Gate house and substation foundations

• Service connections

• Paving, service trenches, pits and ducts for new parking and gate house area

Our responsibilities on this project also involved the completion of public highway - s278 works for two new entrances and new street lighting for the Corby Borough Council.
