Infrastructure
Specialists in delivering bespoke infrastructure, utilities and civil engineering solutions to complex projects
Working across the UK on diverse and complex projects, our teams have excelled delivering infrastructure that includes roads, bridges, footpaths, drainage, sewage and district heating. Our capabilities and expertise extend to delivering a range of utilities works, including new installations, utilities attendance, and utilities diversions, in addition to taking full responsibility for acquiring required permits and planning consents for works.
Our experience has enabled us to deliver critical UK infrastructure works in complex, highly regulated sectors that include aviation, justice and energy.
Large scale Infrastructure projects:
The Shepperton Studios South scheme is a significant improvement and expansion development spanning 55 acres. Our team delivered enabling works, infrastructure, utilities and offsite S278 highways works package direct to the client.
HMP Glasgow is being built on a post-industrial brownfield site, where our team are delivering the advance works phases to prepare the site for the main construction works. Phase 1 focused on site clearance and contamination management, while the ongoing Phase 2 (AW2 Lite) includes the main earthworks and infrastructure installation.
At Graven Hill, Europe’s largest self-build development, our team was integral to creating a thriving new community with the construction of 30,000m2 of new carriageway, 300,000m3 of earthworks and a balancing pond. They also installed 240 manholes, 16km of drainage and 22,000m2 of varying surface finishes and were responsible for the design and build of varying types of roads, the installation of street furniture and lighting, plus the construction of woodland play areas, ponds, viewing decks, boardwalks and bridges.
At all times during the project we were able to rely on a safe, professional, collaborative and quality driven approach from the Careys team. The outcome is a multi-award winning development that is a key part of the University’s future and Careys played an important role in delivering it.
